Wireless Functionality
Currently, the most recent firmware for iPod touches and iPhones does not support the simultaneous use of VPN and proxy settings, both of which are needed to access the internet over University WiFi. An upgrade to University WiFi is in progress, which will resolve the need for VPN access. This is expected to be finalised by early 2009.
Users experiencing an inability to access external websites while on campus may need to disable the wireless connection while on campus, which can be done by completing the following:
Settings -> Wi-Fi -> slide Wi-Fi from ON -> Off.
