Lecture Recording and Streaming at the University of Sydney

A small but growing lecture recording and streaming service is now available to lecturers and teaching staff at the University. During 2008, the required support processes will be put into place to ensure a smooth transition to a full production service in early 2009.

This website will provide you with information on how to make use of the service as well provide background information on the Lecture streaming service. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, or require more information.

• Lecture recording and streaming - Lectures can be recorded in enabled lecture theatres and streamed to students via the University's enterprise learning management systems.
• Desktop upload and streaming - Lecturers and teaching staff can create digital content for streaming on their desktop/laptop computers and upload the content to the streaming servers. Students can access the uploaded content in the same way as they access their streamed lectures: via the learning management systems.
