University Dialup Service

The University runs a modem dialup service for use by staff and students. This service allows the use of the University as an Internet Service Provider (ISP) from home. The service is charged on a cost recovery basis.

In order to use this service you will need to ensure that

• You have a Unikey account and know the username and password
• Your account is in credit (check yourAccount Balance and add credit if necessary).
• You have a dialup modem connected to your computer and a phoneline to use it with.

Once you have confirmed this you may set yourself up to use the service

• Enable the "modem" option on your UniKey Account here (note: this is charged monthly at the start of each month or pro-rata for your first month)
• Follow the appropriate setup guide for your Operating System.
