Transferring a call

Press Recall button

Return to call you are transferring if the other extension is busy

Press 2 after receiving busy tone

Press flashing light button on Access 1 or Access 2 after receiving busy tone

Automatic call back

Press 6 when you hear the busy tone.
A fast ring will indicate when the line is free.
Pickup handset, the extension number you are calling will ring automatically.

Cancel Callback - Lift receiver - Press #37#

Press Callback button - light will come on

Tone Sending

(if you have to enter numbers for a phone menu system, eg Phone banking)

Automatic Press 9 after the number answers. This will turn on your tone sender. "Tone Sender On" will appear on your screen

Telephone Banking and other Systems requiring numbers to be entered

Digital handsets - Press 9 after the number answers. This will turn on your tone sender. "Tone Sender On" will appear on your screen.

Analogue handsets - The above is not required, just press the numbers when requested.

Message Waiting Lights

Analog and Digital handsets - To clear message waiting lights when there are no messages:
Lift receiver and press #91#
If you continually have a message waiting light and no messages, please report faults to 16000 and a technician will check your extension.

Ring Options for Digital Handsets

Press Program button - light will come on
Press digits 1 through to 0 - various ring types will be heard
Select one then press Program button - light will go out
